In the commune of Doué-en-Anjou, 34 farms and two companies (Bioparc and la Rose Des Champs – a cooperative of vegetable producers) have joined forces under the simplified joint-stock company Doué Métha to build and supply a biomethane plant. The plant will process 35,000 tonnes of agricultural waste a year, recycling the biogas produced by injecting biomethane into the GRDF network. 220 cubic metres of biomethane will be produced every hour.
