The communal agricultural project Bioénergie Pierroise brings together 10 farming businesses who were keen to diversify their income streams and jointly invest in effluent management through biomethane production. The plant processes 30,000 tonnes of agricultural waste – primarily effluents (manure and liquid manure). It produces 140 Nm³/h of biomethane, which is injected into the GRDF network.
