Anaerobic digestion
of effluent
With the aim of knowing the
performances of
anaerobic digestion
on an effluent and of determining
the purifying outputs an
anaerobic digestion
reactor is supplied
uninterruptedly by the industrial effluent during 3 to 6 months. The
deployed technology is that of a fixed bed: Proveo™.

Anaerobic digestion of solid waste
We implement a traditional
reactor for solid waste also called CSTR for Completely Stirred Tank
Reactor.
Study of the Co-digestion
of various waste
We perform a study of the anaerobic digestion of several waste
simultaneously to determine their synergies (for example with an aim of
balancing the sources in nutrients: Liquid manure (weak report/ratio
C/N) + grease (important report/ratio C/N)) and their methane potential
Aerobic treatment of
effluent
Our laboratory has the equipment enabling us to simulate the aerobic
treatment of effluent slightly charged in organic load: Sequencing

Stripping/absorption
(depollution of nitrogen)

The
study of stripping/absorption consists in determining the output of
purification obtained on nitrogen in the form of ammonia (NH4+) by the
passage in a column of degasification. Stripping makes it possible to
recover nitrogen in very concentrated form.
Crystallization
(depollution of phosphorus)
The equipment of our laboratory enables us to measure the rate of
crystallization of phosphate by addition of magnesium hydroxide.
Decalcination
(depollution of calcium)

The
objective of the test is to determine the performances of a process of
decarbonation to lime in term of purification output on the ions Ca2+
calcium. The test is based on a reaction of precipitation of the ions
calcium in particular of the hydrogen carbonates with calcium hydroxide.
