Electric valorisation of biogas
In France, anaerobic
digestion, as a technique of producing renewable
energy, benefits of an obligation of electricity purchase produced from
biogas and from a
specific tariff with a 15 year old contract. The
tariff of purchase

comprises :
- a basic tariff fixed according to the power of the
biogas
installation
- a bonus for energy efficiency defined according to the
percentage of valorization of
biogas
into energy
- a premium of 20€/MWh for anaerobic digestion
Before July 2006, EDF bought
electricity resulting from biogas
with 5.8 c/kWh. After July 2006, the
tariff of electricity purchase by EDF is all the more
important (basic tariff from 7.50 to 9 c/kWh up to 14 c/kWh) if
produced heat is valued. Naskeo already deployed successfully boilers
and biogas
cogenerators on several sites.
On each one of our installations of biogas
valorization, a flare of
safety is installed so in particular burning biogas
in the event of
intervention on the boiler or the cogenerator. In addition, when biogas
is charged in (H2S), of the systems of purification per injection of
air are installed on the engines.
Moreover, in the case of the cogeneration, we can also study various
possibilities of valorization of heat and in particular, the heating
network, the mud drying, the units of drying of fodder in barn, of the
greenhouses…
